Shortlister Names Erika Lawney Director of Vendor Relations

Lawney will oversee all vendor programs on behalf of Shortlister which currently supports the search and selection of service providers for over four million lives annually.

Capture2-1PARK RIDGE, May 30, 2018 – Shortlister, the #1 marketplace for finding and selecting vendors in the wellness, human resources (HR) technology and benefits space, today announced that Erika Lawney has been named Director of Vendor Relations.  Lawney will take over the day-today management of all current vendor programs from Shortlister’s Co-Founder & EVP, Tom Ciccotti, and lead the company’s efforts to expand their vendor-focused offerings.

“Erika’s vast experience puts her in a perfect position to represent the voice of the service provider market, as Shortlister continues to expand and diversify our offerings.  She will help immensely to shape the product roadmap that Shortlister can offer, as we look to empower the vendor community with data and feedback to help them expedite their product evolution” Ciccotti said.

Lawney’s background includes over 20 years of sales and marketing experience primarily at the helm of the promotional marketing company she founded in 1999 and most recently as a consultant to small business owners looking to grow their companies beyond the million-dollar mark.  She has extensive experience with vendor management across diverse segments of industry and demonstrated ability in creating innovative programs to increase vendor exposure while maximizing their return on investment and driving company revenue.

“In today’s noisy marketplace, it is hard for vendors to differentiate themselves from their competition.  At Shortlister, we want to help make that process easier by offering a wide variety of opportunities to get in front of our consultant and employer clients that go beyond the vendor’s information on the Shortlister platform.  We’re excited to expand vendor participation across our growing number of categories and introduce new ways for vendors to promote their services and understand the needs of the market.  This will help to ensure that when an employer has a vendor selection need, they are presented with the best possible solutions to their problem.  This will minimize the cost and deliver better results for both the buyer and the vendors in the market” said Lawney.

It is an exciting time at Shortlister and Lawney’s experience will provide critical support to vendor partners as the company continues to expand and launches the latest version of the platform.  Scheduled for early July, the new and improved site will include many more verticals and offerings in the HR technology market as well as a more refined Matching Survey and Algorithm to facilitate an even stronger match amongst compatible vendors.
